Dear Believer.

Dear Believer,

Boast not in your own work. Nor boast in your own merit to behold The Son of Man. For your open heart is only because the Father drew you in. For even Christ proclaimed that He only has who the Father has given him. We must know that life in Christ is not defined by our works, efforts, or even decisions. Our life in Christ is defined solely by the work of God. The work of God is this: He gave his only Son to suffer the full weight of the wrath due unto sin. The Father draws us unto Christ, while Christ bears witness on our behalf. Our only contribution to this was the sin that pinned Christ to the cross of calvary. I will make known my failures before the Lord because His glory is worth more than my reputation and pride. Let it be so in our lives. As best coined in latin, Soli Deo Gloria. “To God alone be the glory.” To Him all the honor and praise. Praise the Lord for in our sin He looked down in compassion, called us His and redeemed us. May our faith be solely in Christ alone.
