A Simple Reminder

David would often cry a very similar cry. That was “Lord, I trust in your name, don’t let me be put to shame.” David trusted that the Lord had his back because he called on the name of God often. Yet in all his prosperity he always recognized that without the presence and favor of God, he was nothing. Often we pray for the blessings and prosperity yet neglect to desire the presence. Walk with God. In communion not in a scram for material gain. Never forget the personhood of God our father. His presence is greater than our prosperity.
